Big Bluff is our dream property, and we would love it to be your dream wedding venue. Big Bluff is a cattle property with a meandering creek, forested gullies and emerald green grass, only 2 hours from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
There are so many different vistas, the choice is yours for your ceremony and reception: take in the long view from Wedding Plateau or an intimate ceremony in the Oxbow Orchard.
While you have your photo taken in the many picturesque spots across the 450 acres, your guests can wander to the Bull Ring for a celebratory drink before moving to your marquee: a wide shady paddock can be transformed with a clear marquee to provide the perfect atmosphere for your party.
Or why not use the rustic Bull Ring for a cocktail reception?
And then there is room for everyone to stay! The perfect end to your reception after you’ve danced the night away is a short stroll back to your cottage or glamping tent under the stars. The next day you can host a post-wedding breakfast for all your family and friends to extend the joy. A game of boules in the Cricket Pitch Paddock would be just the ticket to be truly relaxed as newlyweds.

What it costs
We price venue hire by guest numbers, and you get the whole farm from Friday set-up to Sunday pack-down. You bring your own caterer, bar and stylist, so you're not locked into package mark-ups.

Reception marquee: from about $1,500 for a star-shade to $7,000–$12,000 for a premium sailcloth tent. We organise it at the supplier's price, with no mark-up. Or skip it and use the Bull Ring.
Toilets and showers: $2,000–$3,500 depending on fit-out, organised through us.
Your suppliers: catering, bar, furniture and florals. We'll point you to locals who know the farm.
Stay on the farm
Three cottages sleep 12, priced per night. Most families book their own cottage. Everyone else can book a glamping bell tent direct, camp on site, or stay at the pubs in Kyogle.

The Bull Ring bar comes with every wedding. For a sit-down dinner, most couples put a marquee up in the Cricket Pitch Paddock. We organise the hire and pass the supplier's price straight on, with no mark-up.

Marquee prices are indicative and cover the marquee, lighting and delivery to Big Bluff. The supplier confirms the final price when you book. Star-shade prices apply when you also book five or more glamping bell tents. Tables, chairs and flooring are extra, and we can source them for you.
